Clean
It should come as no surprise that your technician will give your pool a thorough clean when they arrive! This is particularly helpful at the beginning of the swimming season if you’ve let the maintenance go and need it looking back up to standard. Be aware some people charge more to vacuum the pool as part of the clean so make sure you know what is included in the charges!
Your pool will have any surface debris removed, all of the sides brushed down and the bottom of the pool will be vacuumed. Your skimmer and pump baskets will also be emptied and cleaned to remove all of the built up dirt and debris.
Maintain
Once the pool is completely clean, your technician will check your filter and carry out a backwash if necessary. If you have a cartridge filter, they’ll also clean it out for you if there is a build-up of dirt and debris. Your technician will also conduct a thorough check of all of the systems to ensure everything is working correctly and record the pressure.
Test
The last thing your technician will do is take a look at the chemical balance of your water and they’ll look at the pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, dissolved solids, stabiliser and salt. They’ll add the necessary chemicals to ensure that your pool is perfectly balances and sanitised for the perfect swimming conditions. If you’re interested in automatic chemical dosing systems, your technician can also help you out with recommendations.
Repair
When you choose a quality pool servicing company, your technician will also have the skills to carry out repairs as necessary. If you know ahead of time that there is a particular issue with your pool equipment, let your technician know ahead of time so they can take a look.
