The three simple steps in the visa application process include filling the application, making the payment and downloading Vietnam e-Visa.
When asked about their simplified three step process, "We are very happy to announce that we have introduced a three step visa application process to simplify the procedure. In this, first you have to fill in an online form along with the recently taken photo and a passport copy," replied the spokesperson of Vietnam eVisa.
"We only charge for successful application, hence this online procedure is 100% risk free. You can use your Mastercard or Visa credit/debit cards to make your payment."
The processing for your visa request takes at least three business days to process and the visa will be mailed to the registered e-mail address.
"After the payment was made, it takes three business days to process. Once your application is approved, the link to download your e-Visa will be e-mailed to you," commented the spokesperson of Vietnam eVisa.
The fee for the visa application process is US$40 for tourist purpose and US$55 for business purpose.
The spokesperson also added, "Vietnam Electronic or e-Visa is a single entry visa and cannot be extended and converted to other types of visas. The maximum duration of stay in Vietnam using e-Visa is 30 days and as mentioned earlier, it cannot be extended further."
The essential elements for applying Vietnam electronic visa includes a valid e-mail address, a copy of passport a recent digital photograph, a valid credit card or PayPal account to pay e-visa application fee.
