Sub - Sahara Africa still lags behind in technology, and its residents are still devoid of electricity. We at Winock Energy aim at bringing the lives of these people out of darkness by providing them with Off- grid solar systems to generate electricity.Winock energy was established keeping in mind the above condition that, surprisingly, still prevails in a distant community. We worked hard towards finding solutions for this menace and have therefore, built an investment community that leases out Off grid solar systems to people in West Africa. Our operations team produces, installs and operates these solar systems.
With the off-grid solar systems, the people of west Africa are provided with cheap electricity all around the day. The locals of this area had to depend on the life-threatening, and not to mention, extremely polluting resources such as diesel or petrol generators and kerosene lanterns for generating electricity. With off- grid solar systems, we have eliminated those factors as well as reduced the cost by 30%. With off grid solar systems generating electricity, we will be curbing CO2 emissions by 23,000 kg per customer as petrol, diesel and kerosene are substituted.

Through our efforts, we are trying to fight this and are hoping that every child and his family will get sufficient light under which they will be able to study and grow, and their parents too will reap benefits of working in better and brighter conditions.
We have tied up with Laughing Women to provide scholarships to the disadvantaged children in West Africa. We are constantly working towards our goal and try that the basic requirements of these children are met, so that they will not be kept away from education anymore.
