Where are you going?
Day 1: Starting from Kathmandu, Drive to the Syabru Besi, the main town of the region. Driving through scenic view which offers greeneries and beautiful mountain sceneries. Passing Dhunche, you’ll get a glimpse of Ganesh Himal while driving along the famous Trisuli River. Green hills and lush forests make the drive very pleasant.
Days 02: You will cross through the beautiful River and follow the Langtang Khola, rewarded with views of Langtang II (6571), passes through cedar, pine and rhododendron forests, you will gradually ascend up to Bamboo (1,960m) then, climbs up along rocky ridges, you'll cross the Lang tang Khola. After you approach the Lang tang Khola, the route passes along terraced hillsides and through thick forests – first oak, maple and alder then bamboo – abounding with bird life and languor monkeys. Less often seen are rare panda and Himalayan black bear. After walking gently, you will reach at Gumnachowk. Situated under a steep hill is Lama Hotel where you will spend the night.
Days 03: Climb up through dense forest, covered with moss trees, have ferns and epiphytic orchids clinging brings you to Ghodatabela, which is located in a wide valley. After making a steady climb up through the valley, white Lang-tang Lirung make a straggling contrast and, after crossing wide alpine meadows, you will be ascending up to Langtang. The typical and traditional village. The people here are strongly believe in Tibetan Buddhism.
Days 04: Today, passing through the large Mani wall and Yak pasture, crossing several wooden bridges, you will reach in Kyanjing Gumba, the highest village is the Gompa from which the village was named as well as a cheese factory still running. Which was started by the Swiss in 1955 and now produces thousands of kilos of cheese, all hauled by porters to Kathmandu. A day here can be spent relaxing and enjoying the scenery or climbing a small peak from where you can enjoy a view of the entire Langtang Lirung embracing the glacier.
Day 05: Today the exploration day of Kyanjing Gumba, you can go to visit the monastery, the cheese factory, to see the spectacular ice faces and glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyanjin Ri (4,350m) which is the highest point of this trek.
Day 06: You can rejoin the trail you trekked in on, continue back to the Lama Hotel, and is mainly flat and downhill via Langtang. You will spend the night there.
Day 07: Very Soon, the trek is close to end. You will descent beside the river and return to the Syabru Bensi.
Day 08: Return back to Kathmandu from Syabru Bensi.
Day 09: Fly back to your Home country
