In the fear of paying heavy taxes, the villagers of Kuldhara field one dark night leaving behind their homes and everything to let the village get abandoned.
Many generations have passed but no one knows where those villagers have settled and what is known that they cursed the village that none would have ever been able to settle in the village. Since then it has been all deserted and barren all around the village.
