 The Indian wedding sarees mostly consist of heavy threadwork, embroidery, bead work, zari work and even stone and resham work. These sarees have been a major part of the Indian culture since the very beginning. These mesmerizing sarees are worn on various events during the weddings, which include the mehendi, sangeet, haldi and even on the final day of the ceremony. The Indian wedding sarees which are chosen for the bride are mostly red, a shade of turmeric yellow or traditional shades of pink. Sarees worn on weddings nowadays are most often made of georgette, chiffon or faux chiffon. These exquisite sarees are enhanced by the use of mirrors, sequins, beads and shimmering gemstones. The heavy makeup and jewelry further add grace to the bridal attire. Weddings are a lavish affair and thus extra care is taken regarding the dresses and ornaments.  Â
