- NaijaHacks - Africa's biggest Hackathon
If you are a tech enthusiast, NaijaHacks kicks off online from December 7 to 14, 2019. The finale features an awards ceremony and a networking event, with great food and lots of interesting speakers from Nigeria, US, UK and Canada.
2. Davido and DMW's "The 30 Billion Concert"
2019 has been another massive year for Davido, off the success of "The 30 Billion Concert" which held last year December. The sold-out was estimated to have raked in about #500 million. Electrifying performances from superstars like Olamide, Patoranking, 2Baba, Daddy Showkey lit up the fans. Davido and Wizkid re-uniting on stage was a moving experience. So was the Mo’Hits reunion.
3. #OLIC6: Olamide Live in Concert 2019
Olamide's five editions of his annual headline concert have been nothing short of amazing. Eko Hotel and Suites, again, was the venue of the colourful #OLIC5. It was such a night that the city of Lagos had never seen before.
Olamide's energetic performances was infectious and the teeming crowd was bursting with enthusiasm. Some new artistes such as King Perryy and Barry Jhay added some flavour to what was an already amazing atmosphere.
December 2019 promises another masterpiece from Olamide and if you are attending, you are set to experience the OLIC magic!
4. The Burna Boy Show
African Giant and Afro Fusion superstar, Burna Boy has had unprecedented success in 2019. From winning multiple awards, to having a solo feature on Beyonce's album to releasing the African Giant studio album to wide acclaim, he's walking on air. The Burna Boy Show 2018 shook up the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel. And this year, he's set to bring his Giant energy to excite his loyal fans.
5. WizKid: Made In Lagos concert
StarBoy, WizKid shutdown the entire city on the 28th of December 2018. There was a lot of energy in the crowd as the crowd swarmed in and sold out the show for their favourite Star Boy. Cameo performances included Skepta, KCee, Mayorkun and Maleek Berry. This year's edition promises to be just as amazing.
